Scholarships
The DMWC annually awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors, college students, and students pursuing higher education degrees. This year, the DMWC will give scholarships in areas of study including art, drama, music, STEM, Music Education, Elementary Education, and Veterinary Sciences.
General Information
Applicant may apply for only one Des Moines Women’s Club scholarship per year.
Applicant must be a legal resident of or a registered student in Polk, Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, Story, or Warren County.
Only complete applications, including references, will be considered.
The scholarship recipient is requested to attend the DMWC Scholarship Award Program and Luncheon on April 15, 2026.
The scholarship award will be sent directly to the winning recipient’s selected school upon verification of registration and shall be applied toward college/university expenses for the 2026-2027 school year.
